WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY ABOUT FLEXINEB®

At first I was sceptical about nebulising because I thought it would be very time-consuming for me due to the fact that my mare can’t stand still and I thought I had to hold her all the time. That’s why I knew I needed a portable nebuliser without tubes - that’s how I found the Flexineb®. And I must say, I’m impressed. My mare stands perfectly still, even if I have to leave her alone for a short while. I can even groom her while she nebulises, because she is so relaxed (sometimes she even falls asleep). My special trick is nebulising her during longeing so that she takes deeper breaths. This allows the inhalant to reach even the deepest and smallest alveoli. My mare suffered from a nervous cough due to an allergy, but since we started nebulising, the cough has decreased significantly. I am more than satisfied with the Flexineb® and I would never want to do without it again. Customer Service is also very nice and was very helpful when I was a little insecure initially about the correct use of the Flexineb®.

As a professional equine physiotherapist with more than 15 years of professional experience, I experience daily that horses suffer from chronic respiratory diseases at an increasing rate. At first, many of these horses do not cough at all or only slightly, but already have (viscous) mucus deep in their lungs. In my opinion, regular nebulising is the best therapy in addition to improving species-appropriate conditions (soaking the teff in water, dust-free bedding, open stables, etc.). Until a few years ago, all nebulisers came with a long flexible tube that caused stress in many horses. Thanks to the Flexineb®, even customers with anxious / nervous horses have no difficulty in nebulising their animals. As the Flexineb® does not require a tube and the medication therefore reaches the horse's lungs directly, the dose can be considerably reduced and detoxifying organs such as the liver and kidneys are less affected, since, for example, intravenous administration of medication is no longer necessary. In my opinion, this represents a huge advantage of the Flexineb®. The Flexineb® fits into a small, lightweight case, making it easy to handle and carry. So you can simply clean the nebuliser in the peace of your own home. All in all, I can warmly recommend Flexineb® to my customers and so far the feedback has always been very positive.

Rashida (10) is an Arab mare. She was purchased for endurance drives. Since the age of 3 she has been suffering from an allergic cough (she is allergic to rapeseed and tree pollen). We tried a lot of medicines, but nothing helped. We have been using Flexineb® since 2015, after a friend told us about it. For us, the decisive factor was that the Flexineb® is tubeless and runs on battery. In spring and summer we use Flexineb® almost daily (twice on bad days) with 10-30 ml of NaCl , and some days with bronchodilators. The Flexineb® has improved her condition so much that we can handle drives of up to 64 km (our plan is to increase it up to 100 km).

My horse is a 12-year-old Oldenburg mare who is mainly used for show jumping up to class 140. She’s had a dust allergy for many years, but so far without any problems. About 2 years ago she had a drop in performance, so we decided to use the Flexineb® nebuliser. After a single application of cortisone it was sufficient to let her inhale a sodium chloride solution and now we are 95% symptom-free. My horse had no problems with the nebuliser right from the start! Investing in this nebuliser has been the best decision I ever made. Especially because it is handy and practical to pack in a case, has no cables or long tubes and because the noise level is so low.

Here, at our “Equine Clinic Leichlingen”, the Flexineb® is successfully used on foals and adult horses for the treatment of respiratory diseases. The device and medication are easy to handle, as is the cleaning and disinfection process. The robust body of the nebuliser mask, which does not break even in an “uncooperative” patient, should also be emphasized.

My horse suffers from dust sensitivity and therefore always develops new mucus, which makes breathing difficult. Without the Flexineb® I probably would have already given up on my mare. We nebulise every day before exercise. The application allows my mare to expectorate. I often find mucous in the nebuliser. During bad spells, the Flexineb® is great. You can even inhale medication with it. I would recommend anyone who has not yet tested the Flexineb® to try it out when needed.

About a year ago I found out that my mare (then 5 years old) suffers badly from allergies. When I bought her, I originally thought she was lazy. However, the actual reason for her sluggishness was that she could barely breathe. I purchased my Flexineb® following the diagnosis. We use it every day. Normally she inhales while I groom her. Sometimes even during longeing. The Flexineb® is great, especially because it has no cables. In the past year my mare has become super fit and I can enter her in competitions, something I would never have believed a year ago. She is a completely different horse. She can breathe at last. The Flexineb® was the best decision for me and my mare!
